While vacationing in Venice,  my wife and I spent several days walking the back canals and alleyways to see the 'real Venice'.  We happened across this gondolier taking a break on a bridge and it seemed to be the perfect picture.  Venice is one of the most beautiful and photographic places I've ever visited.  You definitely have to spend more than one day there to really enjoy all this city has to offer with it's unbelieveable sights, cuisine, and people.
