This is Delicate Arch in Arches National Park in the late afternoon.  No tour of the Southwest United States would be complete without a trip through Moab, Utah and the surrounding National Parks.  There are so many amazing sights in this part of the country it is hard to say what's best but one of the most iconic sights has to be Delicate Arch.  Arches N.P. has dozens of arches some more spectacular than others but no doubt this is the crown jewel of the them all.  It's a moderate 3 mile hike up to this arch and is well worth the effort, once you reach the base you realize the massive size of this arch and you can't help but wonder how on earth natural forces could have created it?
