After strolling through the bustling Lodge at Lake McDonald in Glacier National Park, I walked out to the public boat landing. There I watched three young women climb into a small rowboat--without life preservers, I should add--and begin to move into the lake. I couldn't resist capturing the image of that boat against the breathtaking mountain vista. Luckily, a cloud just happened to be in precisely the right location to complement the boat. In a place like Glacier, I find that visual harmonies such as these are constantly presenting themselves. I suppose that's why, while I keep looking for them, my wife is constantly telling me to "Watch where you're walking!"
