  • The blossoms make it!  And I always knew that Jefferson, like me, leaned to the left.  Nice shot.

I was fortunate enough to visit Washington DC for the very first time when the lovely cherry blossoms were in bloom. This moment was captured as I stood overlooking the Potomac River at many happy people in paddleboats maneuvering around the Jefferson Memorial, the monument I was most in awe of. As the breeze ever so slightly blew through, the pretty pink petals of the cherry blossom trees would fall all around me. Simply magical!
