Molokai is not an island many people go to when in Hawaii.  If you do go Kalaupapa is a must see.  You can fly in on a small plane or for you hikers you can take the 1200 plus uneven steps down from the park.  The history is also great.  On the east side there is a great old church and this wonderful view of Kalawao Bay.  This was the dropping off point when this area first became a leper colony and I do mean dropping off; off the boat into the water and swim for your life.
