  • A trolley car in historic downtown Savannah, March 2010.  Downtown can be easily walked, there is a good bus system, trolley tours and horse & carriage tours.

We visited the historic district of downtown Savannah for a week in March 2010.  It's a great place to just walk around to see shops, beautiful architecture, quaint park-like squares and the active and lively River Street shopping and restaurant area.  Besides walking, however, there is a good bus system, tour streetcars and horse and carriage tours.  This is one of the tour streetcars.
