Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, it does. As we drove through the park we happened upon a park where people were splashing in the creek there and there was a small group playing in the park.


As we wandered through the lovely scenic drive, we came upon a pioneer village. An honest to goodness full scale pioneer village. Check it out:

                                                     It was very interesting to watch things done the "olde timey" way. People in period clothing. We spent some time walking some of the many trails available throughout the park., taking pictures of nature and special things that caught our interest.
            As you can see, Tom never misses an opportunity to "clown" it up lol. We have lots of fun on these trips. It is always "our" time together to just get away.
