  • I love the lighting and the subject matter.  Wonderful shot.  When I visited there, nothing was happening in this crater.  Interesting!

I waited three rainy mornings at Kilauea in Hawaii to catch this moment, when the sun came up over the ridge and caught the steam venting at Halema`uma`u. Then the rain set in again.
