Description:

The San Francisco Bay Bridge's western span at sunset.  I took this picture from Treasure Island which offers some amazing views of the city and the bridge.  If you're passing through the Bay Area and are looking for a good vantage point this is your spot.  They are building a new eastern span to this bridge scheduled for completion in 2012, the most expensive construction project in the state which also makes for some entertaining viewing from the island.
