Free?  What does it mean? 

Earlier this year, my wife and I traveled to the Bahams.  It was a magnificent trip.  Toward the end of it, as we strolled along the sidewalk, we pondered these questions more and more.  Vacation always does this to you.  It makes you wonder, "What in the world am I doing when I'm not here?"  "Why in the world does everything seem so important when I'm at home?"  "Why can't it always be this simple?"  "What does it mean to simply be free?"

Lost in our thoughts, we almost ran into a bird walking along the sidewalk.  As it flew away -its flight crossing the setting sun, I snapped this shot...and our questions were answered.

Oh what it means to be free.
