The Yellow Eyed Penguin Conservation Reserve (on the Otago Peninsula) helps in the effort to save the endangered yellow eyed penguin. They give them a safe place to come home to after a full day at sea. There are these amazing tunnels built throughout so you can view the penguins without disturbing them. This particular penguin was not too happy that a couple of sheep were invading its space so a minute or two after this photo was taken, the penguin snapped its beak at the sheep until they left...
