Description:

This part of monastery at Swayambhunath Stuppa is open to anyone and you can watch and listen to the monks during prayers. Unfortunately, the tourists are loud and simply ignore that this is a religious service.  There are also child monks taking part in the ceremony. These young monks according to a Buddist monk I met are called "monkeys."
