The trees here in the San Joaquin Valley turn a dozen shades of vibrant 'fall' colors for a few weeks late in the autumn, and the town of Fresno actually looks attractive then. Walking among these trees going to and from work last November was a pleasure for the brief spell it lasted. Even the air and the light appear to have a slightly different color then. This wasn't much of a "trip" so to speak;  merely a step outside my office at work.
