is one of the most beautiful cities in the United States and nothing defines this city better than the Golden Gate Bridge.  This Bridge is amazing from any angle but the closer you get the more spectacular it is.  San Francisco is not an inexpensive city but a walk across the bridge not only makes you feel like you've arrived in California but it's free.  There is parking at the base of the walk through the park and pretend it was our back yard.  When we found out we would be moving back to California we started bringing a camera with us in hopes of capturing a few good sunsets.  This picture was taken in the spring overlooking the The Lake with Mid-town in the background.  Central Park has to be one of the best parks in the world, it's 3 miles long and half a mile wide, virtually every square foot is manicured to perfection.  My favorite time is April and May but it's amazing year round.  There are a million things to do in New York but most everything costs an arm and a leg, my all time favorite vacation destinations.  I still can't decide which season I like the best.  It seems like there is an endless supply of activities to choose from any time of year.  The summer has boating, water skiing, rafting, hiking, biking, golfing, and much more while the winter might even be better with world class skiing.  The night life is great year round and with half the lake being in Nevada there are some great casinos open 24 hours a day.  The only problem with this amazing lake is that it's not a secret, if you can avoid holiday weekends you will save yourself some time
