My favorite part of traveling is getting to know people on the street at the bus stop, in the laundramats, and the shopowners. I get such good tips about the area restaurants and what their favorite thing is about their home town. Communication has never been a problem when I try to speak their language as best as I can. I only knew a few phrases in Italian but please and thank you are the most important words in any language.

Grandparents House In The Berkshires

In May our family hosted a memorial garden party at the Pittsfield house in honor of our mother who died after battling 6 months of lung cancer.
