I was in Europe when Michael Jackson passed away last year and was blown away by how visibly upset Europeans were about the King of Pop's death. His funeral aired on seemingly every television in the city and people were crying (publically!) about his passing. I knew MJ was an American icon and was famous worldwide, but his legacy was confirmed when I saw the drink menu at a bar in Paris. All of the drink specials had been adapted to honor Michael! If we weren't in a hurry, I would have liked to stop for a "Billie Jean" to remember him by.
