    This is on Going-to-the-Sun Road looking East about a mile from the Continental Divide near Logan Pass.  The scenery from the road really takes your breath away.  The weather is very changeable.  This was taken in mid-August on a day where the weather was transitioning from cloudy, rainy highs in the 40s, to highs in the 70s and 80s the next few days.

    We were lucky enough to take this informative and peaceful hike with one of the park rangers.  The trail  to Avalanche offers many impresseive views of flora and fauna as well as some pretty incredible watercourses.  Before you know it you easily made your two mile jaunt and are treated to the sight of Avalanche Lake with it's cascading waterfalls.

    We spent three days in Yosemite National Park on our May 2009 honeymoon. Due to unseasonably warm weather, the road to Glacier Point had just recently been opened, so we drove up to the point for the fabulous view of Yosemite Valley and Half Dome. I was personally excited to see snow still on the ground - I had never walked in snow! (I'm from Florida.)
