    On a recent trip to Washington, DC from Cincinnati, my family took the slower, but more scenic, route on US-50 East.  We stopped overnight at North Bend State Park in Cairo, WV where we took a short hike on the North Bend Rail Trail, a 72-mile hiking, biking and equestrian trail that traverses along the path of the old B & O Railroad.  Famous for its tunnels and bridges, the trail through the park is the the.site of historic Tunnel #13.  It was here in 1956 that the National Limited Passenger Train wrecked as it emerged from the tunnel.  I had been experimenting with my camera's aperture and was proud to capture this shot from inside the tunnel.  My children, Olivia and Luke,were standing in one of the alcoves used by pedestrians to avoid the train's travel through the narrow opening.  I love how the light reflects from the puddle, leaves, and brick.
