Mount Monadnock Sunset Mount Monadnock Sunset
- From: dbrown1793

Description:
Mount Monadnock, located outside of Keene, might not be New Hampshire's most celebrated mountain, that honor going to Mt. Washington. But it is still viewed as a stalwart landmark for the tri-state region of Massachusetts, Vermont and the Bay State. it is also a favorite of hikers who find the 3400' peak a worthwhile challenge. Twice a year, I fly up to it in my little Cessna and snap a shot or two. This latest finds it bathed in all its sunset glory.

Description:
Found this tree covered in moss at Texas Falls in Green Mountain National Forest in Hancock, Vermont. The woods look like a rain forest right now with everything covered in moss. Beautiful place to visit and look at the falls, too.

Lake Champlain at Twilight Lake Champlain at Twilight
- From: woobiecat1
-
Description:
Rowers are headed for the setting sun on Lake Champlain between Vermont and New York States. From May to October anyone can sign up for weekly row on Lake Champlain at the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum. It is a beautiful time of day to be out on the lake and the hour and a half of rowing is rhythmic and inviting in its simplicity, not to mention, good exercise. The sunset is the bonus.
